Silicones commonly found in the cosmetic industry are classified as microplastics and have been reported to be non-biodegradable, making it essential to reduce and replace silicone in cosmetic products. Research shows that Nano Olive Oil can replace silicone in shampoo while still ensuring the smoothness and shine of hair, and it can also reduce ROS—Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS has been linked to hair loss syndrome).
